Description

Handmade Wooden Soap Rack

Our handmade wooden soap rack is made to fit our natural soap bars perfectly, helping them to dry out between uses. A smart and sustainable addition to your bathroom or kitchen, each soap dish is unique due to natural differences in the tone and grain of the wood.

  • Approx 10 x 6.5cm
  • Handmade in the UK from sustainably sourced Red Grandis hardwood
  • Sealed with Tung Oil – a plant-based and non toxic alternative to wood varnish, made from the nuts of the Tung tree. It helps to seal the rack against moisture, and brings out the beautiful red tones of the wood.

Why use a wooden soap dish?

A wooden soap dish is an essential addition to any eco-friendly bathroom, offering both style and sustainability. Crafted from natural wood, this soap dish not only enhances the aesthetic of your space but also promotes longer-lasting soap bars by allowing proper drainage and air circulation. Unlike plastic alternatives, wooden soap dishes are a durable, eco-conscious option that helps keep your soap bars dry, clean, and ready for use while minimising waste. To clean, wipe your rack with a damp cloth and leave it to air dry. Don’t leave sitting in water for prolonged periods.

If you’ve already made the switch to solid soap bars, you’ll be aware of the many benefits: more gentle, less waste, compact, and no plastic. Solid bars can also last much longer than bottled shower gel or body wash. Why not check out our full range of handmade natural soaps that we make here in North Wales, using the cold process method – available in 8 fresh, fruity or floral scents.

Please note: This listing is for the soap rack only.

Good to know! All Battle Green orders are sent out in plastic free, recyclable (and often recycled) packaging.
