Regular Reusable Period Pads – Black
These black regular reusable period pads are a great introduction to zero waste periods. An eco-friendly alternative to disposable menstrual pads, they are suitable as for regular flow or as a backup to a menstrual cup.

- Each regular pad is approx. 10″ long – ideal for regular flow and daily use: the longer length offers increased coverage for added security and increased absorbency.

To use: The white towelling goes against your skin, and the black side against your underwear, snapping closed with the adjustable poppers. Each pad is made from soft bamboo terry with a PUL backing to ensure there are no leaks, and a super absorbent microfibre core. Also suitable for use as incontinence pads.
Reusable pads don’t have the adhesive strip of disposable pads, so they need to be used slightly differently. The type of underwear you wear them with can make all the difference for helping to keep them in place without glue! Choose close fitting, wide gusset underwear which the pad can snugly wrap around to keep it in place.

Good product. Plastic pads were irritating my shin and they are so bad for the environment that I wanted to try something new. The white Terry cloth is an odd choice, but it feels nice against the skin. I might sew some Velcro on to a few pads and a few pair of undies and see how that works as my only problem is that the pad flips around and scrunches up.

These pads are very comfortable to wear over everyday cotton underwear and can be adjusted to fit. They also wash up well (in cold water first to remove stains, then in lukewarm water for freshening up).
