Natural Shampoo Bar 55g

Go plastic free with our natural shampoo bars – solid hair care bars designed to cleanse, soften and add shine. Each handmade bar is minimally packaged in paper, with the option to add a reusable travel tin. All of our eco friendly cosmetics are PETA certified vegan friendly and cruelty free.

Choose from three shampoo bars:

  • Citrus – suitable for all hair types and helps add shine and balance sebum production.
  • Mint – best for fine/thin and normal-oily hair
  • Lavender & Tea Tree – best for dry or frizzy hair

Each 55g natural shampoo bar is packed with nourishing plant based ingredients. Olive oil is fantastic for moisturising hair, and contains monounsaturated fatty acids which can strengthen the hair from root to tip. Vitamin E rich Grapeseed oil locks in moisture which can prevent frizz, split ends, and brittle hair. Coconut oil adds shine and softness to the hair, and has been shown to help reduce breakage and split ends.

To use: Lather up the bar between your hands and apply the lather to your hair. You can also rub the bar in gentle circles across wet hair to generate a rich lather. Make sure to rinse your hair through thoroughly with warm water, paying attention to the back of your head.

Note: While many people adjust to natural shampoo bars straight away, some experience an adjustment period. Make sure to rinse well after lathering up. If needed, use a weak vinegar rinse (2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar in a pint of warm water, which can also double up as a cheap conditioner) before rinsing once more with fresh water. This rinse can also work well if you live in a hard water area – hard water can sometimes react with natural bars and leave a residue.     I had originally expected my hair to go through the transition period as my hair can naturally be quite fussy, however after a couple days since first use my hair feels and looks great and the smell of these products are amazing they smell like they are straight from a lavender bush which is hard to find authentic scents like this. Will be an ongoing product in my hair routine.
