We Won! The Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards 2020

We're delighted to say that our Lavender Natural Deodorant Balm has won a 'Best Buy' award in the Green Parent Natural Beauty Awards 2020!
The Green Parent was established over 15 years ago when the first few issues were planned out "on scrap paper, in front of the fire." Today the magazine has an audience reach of 150,000 and it is stocked throughout the UK - a familiar fixture on the shelves of WHSmith and Boots. Inside its pages, you'll find a passionate team of writers and photographers, dedicated to discussing, sharing and celebrating all things eco-friendly, with a special focus on family life.
Every year, the Green Parent run their Natural Beauty Awards, judged by an independent panel of beauty experts who test each product. Categories include Hair care, Make up, Bath & Body and more, and the winning products and companies are showcased in the Green Parent's annual Natural Beauty Bible.
Battle Green's Lavender Natural Deodorant Balm won 'Best Buy' in the Bath and Beauty category, and received a special mention in the 'Plastic Free' section of the awards for our cardboard push up tube packaging!

All of our natural handmade cosmetics are PETA-certified vegan and cruelty free. Our deodorants come in three gorgeous scents (with more to follow soon - keep your eyes peeled!). The formula is free from harmful ingredients found in many commercial deodorants and antiperspirants such as aluminium, parabens, or synthetic colours and fragrances. Antiperspirants contain aluminum to prevent us from sweating, but sweating is a completely natural and healthy way of cooling down and releasing toxins from the body. Our balm therefore won't stop sweating, but it will help kill the bacteria that causes bad odours, absorb sweat, and leave soft, naturally-scented armpits in its wake, thanks to organic coconut oil, shea butter and essential oils.
