While many face masks come in single-use plastic packaging, our clay face masks come in a plastic free compostable sachet (including the label)! Each Beetroot Rose mask includes a blend of kaolin (that absorbs sebum, prevents pore clogging, and gently draws out impurities and toxins from the pores); bentonite clay (effectively absorbs dirt and oil, and can have a calming effect on inflamed breakouts); and arrowroot powder (shown to soften and soothe skin, and improve skin texture). You'll also find beetroot powder (a source of antioxidants, which have a revitalizing effect on the skin, while the lycopene and squalene present in beetroot can increase skin’s elasticity ); rose geranium essential oil (that can brighten, and help remove dead skin cells); and mango powder that can cleanse pores and improve the texture of the skin.
To use your clay mask, take a teaspoon of dry powder and add a few drops of water at a time, until your desired spreadable consistency is achieved. Apply the face mask paste evenly to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 5 minutes until the mask is partially dry (don't leave until it is completely dry and cracks). Gently remove with a wet cloth, then rinse your face to remove any remaining residue. Use once a week. Each sachet has enough for between 5-8 applications.
