CHARITIES

We are proud to support the following charities.

Battle Green are members of the Surfers Against Sewage 250 Club, a business membership scheme to help support SAS’s vital work to clean up our beaches and seas, through monthly donations and engagement with SAS campaigns. Visit www.sas.org.uk to find out about their fantastic initiatives, including educating schools and communities on going #plasticfree, campaigning to improve water quality, and organising beach cleans up and down the country.

We have also partnered with Ecologi to plant a tree for every one of our small, medium and large zero waste starter kits sold, and to offset the carbon footprint of our deliveries. Why is it so important to plant trees? Trees help to preserve soil and improve air quality through photosynthesis by absorbing carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and carbon monoxide, and releasing oxygen. contribute to their environment by providing oxygen, improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and supporting wildlife. Trees create an ecosystem to provide habitat and food for birds and other animals. One large tree can supply a day's supply of oxygen for four people. Check out our virtual forest to keep track of our tree planting, and read more about the climate projects we help support: ecologi.com/battlegreen
